This term, we have been busy exploring Pattern and Rhyme. We found out that patterns are everywhere! We sang our favourite nursery rhymes and spotted lots of rhyming words and made up some new rhymes too. We noticed that patterns are in our clothes, nature, music and art and we recreated lots to see and hear. We made people patterns too and tried to predict the next in the line - this was a bit more tricky!

We have also been busy looking after others and ourselves. We helped our new children find out about our classroom and routines and have made many new friendships. Our poorly toy animals were also very well cared for at our busy Windmill Vets and we’re pleased to say they all made a full recovery! We also had a visit from 2 police officers and asked lots of questions. They reminded us about keeping safe but the bit we liked best was hearing the siren – it was so LOUD!!

We look forward to sharing more Windmill news next term as we find out more about Spring. Look out too for our community events for children and families. We hope you can come along!
