Parents as Partners

Partnership and communication with our parents and carers are strongly valued.

We wish both your child and you to feel happy at Nursery and staff are always available to discuss any thoughts or concerns however small they may seem. Parent consultations are held twice a year (with evening appointments) and on transition to Reception, we provide a report of your child's development at Nursery.

Further information about Nursery can be found on our notice boards, at information evenings and in our termly 'Windmill News' and Mill Lane C.P. School newsletters.

Your support within Nursery really helps to make it an exciting environment and has a positive impact on the children’s development. Help is always needed and we are grateful for any contributions whether collecting junk for modelling, cooking, staying to play for a session or helping with trips.  We also welcome parent/carers contributions to your child’s Learning Journey.

You can also join the M.L.S.A!  Mill Lane C. P. School has a lively and committed School Association. It’s a great way to meet other parents and raise funds to support learning in Nursery and School. Please contact the School Office (contact details above or see 'Contact' to send a message) if you are interested in joining.
