Dec 2019 - Jan 2020

31st December 2019

Wow, what a busy and fantastic end of term we had at Nursery.

We visited the tree festival at St. Andrew's Church. The Church looked amazing with lots of Christmas trees decorated in different ways by the community. We had decorated a tree too but first we needed to find it. After some careful searching, we did -  it looked great! We all gathered around the tree and sang our favourite Christmas songs  - it was a lovely start to our festivities.

Back at Nursery, we made a Santa's workshop, for his elves to make new toys. The Windmill elves became  designers, engineers and problem solvers as they worked together to help Santa. They made lots of things including roller skates, rockets, trains and used tools, cogs and wheels, nuts and bolts to fix parts together. It was a very busy place!

We had a fantastic Nativity - the children sang brilliantly! Then it was time for our Christmas party with  magical entertainer and a visit from Father Christmas. What an exciting day and a lovely end to our term!

We look forward sharing more news in the New Year.
